Risk Management Workshop for Border Security in the Hellenic MPSOTC
On 25th of June 2018, one more Risk Management Workshop took place for the participants of “Sea/Land Borders Security & Refugees/Arms/Dual-Use Goods Control Course“ at Hellenic MPSO Training Center at Kilkis. It was the fifth time that Risk Management Workshop takes place in the installations of MPSO Training Center.
During the 7 hours workshop, 27 participants out of 6 different Countries ( UAE, S. Arabia, China, France, Pakistan and Greece) gained knowledge concerning the principles and the procedures of Risk Management for Border Security projects. Participants were active members of Armed Forces, Police Forces, Coast Guards, Airforce, Customs Authorities and Civilians working in Border Security Sector.
During the workshop, participants examined a full scenario of a Border Security project where they executed all the processes of Risk Management such as Identify Risks, Risk Analysis, Risk Responses, Control Risks and Stakeholders Management.
In some cases, took place a productive discussion about the Identification and the Analysis of the Threats & Opportunities:
As well as for the planning of the appropriate Risk Response for each Risk:
Moreover, multiple case studies were discussed as well as a number of best practices from around the world so as the participants to take back home a useful toolkit.

Participation in 4th Global Conflict Risk Index in Brussels
The last 2 days, I had the pleasure of participating in the “4th Global Conflict Risk Index” workshop in Brussels that was organized by JRC!
It was a great experience to hear about new approaches as well as discuss with more than 35 SMEs about Risk topics concerning Conflict forecasting, Quantitative Risk Analysis, Risk Variabilities, Early Warning Systems etc

Conclusion of “Project Risk Management” course for 3rd-year students of Sheffield University!
On 01st of June 2018, the “Project Risk Management” course for the 3rd year students of the International Faculty of Sheffield University was concluded. This workshop based course started on 02nd of March with 16 students of 7 different countries (such as Armenia, Turkey, FYROM, Greece, Albania, Bulgaria & Kosovo) so as to provide knowledge concerning the principles and the procedures of Project Risk Management in business world according to PMI standards. All participants were students of Business Administration & Economy Department of the International Faculty of Sheffield University.
During the 5 days of the workshop, participants examined a number of real case studies about Identify Stakeholders, How to create a Risk Management Plan, How to Identify Risks and also How to conduct Qualitative and Quantitative Risk Analysis, Plan Risk Responses and Control Risks processes.

From the beginning, the participants executed a workshop where they applied, step by step, in practise all the theory of Risk Management
Moreover, during these sessions, the students in teams of 3, presented the key points of each day as well as a respective case study of the theory of Risk Management:
On 01st of June 18, the students concluded the course by participating in the final exam of the course which was planned in a way so as to be a simulation of the exam for the PMI-RMP certification.
I wish them all the best of luck in their personal and professional life and until the end of the year to become PMI-RMP holders!

Ολοκλήρωση του 11ου εξ αποστάσεως σεμιναρίου Risk Management της Human Asset
Η επιτυχής ολοκλήρωση του 11ου εξ αποστάσεως σεμιναρίου Risk Management της Human Asset που ξεκίνησε στις 19 Απριλίου, είναι γεγονός!!!
Οι συμμετέχοντες που εργάζονται σε 6 διαφορετικές χώρες (Ελλάδα, Ελβετία, Κύπρο, ΗΠΑ, Δανία & Ουγγαρία) έπειτα από 8 συναντήσεις που περιείχαν θεωρητική γνώση, πολλά case studies και αρκετές ασκήσεις αλλά και ένα απαιτητικό workshop, κατάφεραν να αποκτήσουν βαθιά γνώση των διαδικασιών-εργαλείων και τεχνικών του Risk Management με βάση το PMBOK 6th Edition!!

Αλλά η υποστήριξη και η προετοιμασία της δεν ολοκληρώθηκε, καθώς τις επόμενες εβδομάδες οι συμμετέχοντες θα λάβουν αρκετό εκπαιδευτικό υλικό και πληθώρα Mock tests μέσω της ασύγχρονης πλατφόρμας τηλεκπαίδευσης της Human Asset ώστε να εξασφαλιστεί η επιτυχής συμμετοχή στις εξετάσεις της Διεθνούς Πιστοποίησης PMI–RMP.

Risk Management Workshop for the Security professionals in Hellenic MPSOTC
On 31st of May 2018, one more Risk Management Workshop took place for the participants of “Security Management in Situational Prevention Course” at Hellenic MPSO Training Center at Kilkis. It was the fourth time that Risk Management Workshop takes place in the installations of MPSO Training Center.
During the 7 hours workshop, 28 participants out of 6 different Countries (Spain, UAE, S. Arabia, China, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Greece) gained knowledge concerning the principles and the procedures of Risk Management for Security projects. Participants were active members of Armed Forces, Police Forces, Coast Guards, Airforce, Customs Authorities and Civilians working in Security Sector.
During the workshop, participants examined a full scenario of a Security project where they executed all the processes of Risk Management such as Identify Risks, Risk Analysis, Risk Responses, Control Risks and Stakeholders Management.
